In today's digital world, signing a contract, tax form, rental agreement, or employment letter should not require a costly enterprise subscription, cumbersome software installation, or worse—uploading your sensitive financial and personal documents to obscure third-party cloud servers.

Most existing "free online PDF signers" silently transmit your confidential documents to their remote backends, storing them for days or weeks. For sensitive legal contracts, NDAs, medical releases, or bank statements, this creates unacceptable privacy and data breach hazards.

SignPDFOnline was built to challenge that status quo. We believe document signing should be instant, free, frictionless, and above all, 100% private.

How Our Client-Side Architecture Works

SignPDFOnline leverages modern web technologies (HTML5 Canvas, Web Workers, IndexedDB, and client-side WebAssembly / JavaScript PDF parsing engines) to execute every single step locally on your device:

• Local PDF Parsing: Your document is decoded and rendered in your browser's execution sandbox using Mozilla's pdfjs-dist.
• Local Ink Smoothing: When you draw with your finger, mouse, or stylus, your strokes are interpolated in real time using client-side quadratic bezier curves.
• Local Background Removal: When you photograph or upload a physical signature on paper, our canvas-level image processing algorithm isolates ink pixels from paper texture on your device without transmitting image bytes to any cloud AI endpoint.
• Direct PDF Vector Stamping: Signatures are embedded into the PDF structure using pdf-lib, preserving vector lines, fonts, and page orientation without any remote processing.
